The WEDC Foundation helps women make their dreams of economic independence come true. While over $170,000 in scholarships has been given to 75 women, our program is unique – we give much more than money. Financial assistance, mentors and professional development programs are provided to women in Madison, Marshall, Morgan and Limestone counties of Alabama who are driven to overcome daunting hurdles and obtain a college degree or a technical training certificate.
The result? Successful graduates who understand how to select and develop a career, obtain life skills, establish a network of other successful business professionals – and continue to give back to the community.
