During crisis, the connection to and generosity of others is how we make it through. 

The WEDC Foundation was created to give a hand up to women scholars in North Alabama, striving to achieve their goals and dreams through higher education. Our scholars are required to work while going through school. Many are working jobs in retail, food service, or interning at a local business. During this pandemic, their schooling and bills continue, but their work cannot. 

The WEDC Foundation Scholar Emergency Fund was created during the Covid-19 crisis to help support Scholars during such an unprecedented time. The fund continues and may be used for scholar emergencies that may arise in the future. We appreciate your generosity and willingness to donate for scholars during their time of need.
