Women Honoring Women (WHW) is the signature fundraiser of the WEDC Foundation, recognizing prominent women in our community who have created legacies, overcome obstacles, and who serve as an inspiration to others. 

 

Does this sound like a woman you know in the Huntsville/Madison County community? You have the opportunity to formally recognize her efforts and give her the accolades she deserves by nominating her today! 

Guidelines for Nominee: 

• She lives and works in Madison County, AL.

• She has left or is creating a legacy in the Huntsville/Madison County community.

• She has not served on the WEDC Foundation Board or as WHW Chair in the last three years.

• Nomination deadline is on International Women's Day, March 8th, 2024!

To prepare for your nomination, have the following information on hand:

• Nominee's Resume or Bio

• ​Evidence of her leadership, awards, recognition, leadership positions, community service and/or volunteer involvement.

• Her proven successes and growth of business or organization - professional impact.

• How she inspires by sharing a vision, enabling others, modeling the way. Actions that have benefited others from her mentoring or guidance.

• Her path of success and perseverance. How she has overcome barriers and/or obstacles along the path to success. Who was her influencer, role model, mentor.
