With much enthusiasm, we held the Honoree Reception on April 26th to announce the 2022 Women Honoring Women (WHW) Honorees. The room was buzzing with excitement of seeing friends in-person and with anticipation to recognize these accomplished Honorees at September's celebratory event.
The WHW event, held annually in September, serves as inspiration to the WEDC Foundation scholars and event guests as it honors remarkable women who have made a lasting impact in our community. In addition to the fundraising support, the event provides our scholars with the opportunity to hear from and meet these wonderful women. The WEDC Foundation scholars get to see women on stage that look like them, have a similar story, or are living the life they aspire to. It also shows them and reminds us all, that we should take the time to celebrate women for their achievements.
The legacies these honorees will leave are nothing short of spectacular and we are proud to honor each of them on September 15th.
