Introducing Fall Graduate Michelle Brookshire!

Michelle joined the WEDC Foundation in the Fall of 2021 while working toward her BA in Professional Studies at UAH. She took the step toward a college degree so that she could not only grow in her career trajectory but also better provide for her children.

"I LOVED the workshops we had. The etiquette and financial ones were my favorites. The etiquette workshop helped me become more polished. The financial workshop helped me know I was on the right track and to stay on the path to keep my debt down." Michelle's degree emphasis was on Leadership Management and she completed her final semester in late summer with a 4.0 GPA. She plans to become a project manager and is certain her promotion will come in the new year.

"The WEDC Foundation is important to me because it made me feel validated. It validated my feelings that obtaining my degree would help me meet my goals, both professionally and personally. I anticipate a promotion in 2023 that is directly related to the improvement of my education." - Michelle Brooskhire
