The WEDC Foundation helps women make their dreams of economic independence come true. While over $95,000 in scholarships have been given to 57 women, our program is unique – we give much more than money. Financial assistance, mentors and professional development programs are provided to at-risk women in Madison County, Alabama who are driven to overcome daunting hurdles and obtain a college degree or a technical training certificate.
The result? Successful graduates who understand how to select and develop a career, obtain life skills, establish a network of other successful business professionals – and continue to give back to the community.
